 Privacy Policy

go2® recognizes that our users have legitimate concerns about privacy. This Privacy Policy, which is part of our Terms and Conditions of Use, sets forth our practices regarding the collection and use of "Personal Information " as well as the choices we offer you regarding the use of this information. "Personal Information " is information that personally identifies you, including, for example, your name, address, and email address. This Privacy Policy only addresses our activities from our servers. Other sites (including those that we link to and third party sites or services which we cobrand, such as email) may have their own policies, which we do not control, and thus are not addressed by this Privacy Policy.

You provide certain Personal Information to us when you: (a) register for a go2 Address® or a listing on a go2® Web Site , (b) sign up for special offers from selected third parties on our registration page, (c) enter any sweepstakes and contests sponsored by us or one of our partners, (e) use any of our go2 Web Sites® or other products or services or (d) purchase goods and services through our website. We may also collect Personal Information from you at other points on our site that state that Personal Information is being collected. The more information you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to customize your experience. Once you register you are no longer anonymous to go2 and are able to take full advantage of go2's many offerings.

Our servers automatically collect information about which sites users visit and which pages are viewed within go2 web sites. We use a feature of your browser called a "cookie" and/or features of our go2 Enabler similar to "cookies" to assign a User ID that automatically identifies you and/or your computer or other go2 Enabled® device when you visit our websites. We also use cookies placed by third party servers to target the advertising delivered to you. This practice is common in Internet advertising.

We use Personal Information, among other things, for billing purposes, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, to personalize your service, to investigate activity that may violate our user agreement, and to develop and market products and services that may be of interest to you. We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties that wish to inform you of or provide to you certain products and services. You should note that Personal Information that you voluntarily disclose on your personal homepage, in forums or in chat rooms may be used by third parties. Also, certain Personal Information about you may displayed in your user profile and personal web page automatically unless you make such information private by going to our member services area.

Go's primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the user, with a customized experience on our network of sites. This includes personalization services, interactive communications, online shopping and many other types of services, most of which are completely free to you. In order to provide services free of charge, we display advertisements. By knowing a little about you, go2 is able to deliver more relevant advertisements and content, and hence better service, to you.

In our role of delivering targeted advertisements, go2 plays the middleman. Advertisers give us an advertisement and tell us the type of audience they want to reach (for example, males over 35 years old). go2 takes the advertisement and displays it on go2 Web Sites® to users meeting that criteria. In this process, the advertiser never has access to individual account information. Only go2 has access to individuals' accounts. This kind of advertisement targeting is done with banner ads as well as promotional email. You will only receive special offers via email from go2 only if you have indicated during registration that you would like to receive them. You can change your preferences at any time.

go2 does internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration, during a promotion, or from our server log files. We do this to better understand and serve our users. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis.

Sharing of Personal Information
As a general rule, go2 will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. The following describes some of the ways that your information may be disclosed.

Business Partners & Sponsors: go2 may disclose your personal information to business partners or sponsors, but this is specifically described to you prior to data collection or prior to transferring the data. Some or all data collected during a go2 promotion may be shared with a sponsor. If personally identifying data about you will be shared, we will tell you before we collect or transfer the data unless you have specifically advised us in your go2 Preferences to provide such information. Many promotions offer opportunities to request additional information from sponsors. By requesting more information, you give go2 permission to transfer your personal information to the sponsor so they can fulfill your request. In many instances, only your email address will be shared.

Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate: Under confidentiality agreements, go2 may match Personal Information with third party data. Also, go2 discloses aggregated user statistics (for example, 45% of our users are female) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.

Other: go2 may also disclose Personal Information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) go2's rights or property, other go2 users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. go2 may disclose Personal Information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

User Choices
We offer registered users choices regarding our use of your Personal Information . You can change, add or delete certain Personal Information you supplied to us by going to our member services area. Our go2 Enabler will allow you to change, add, delete or hide certain Personal Information. If you delete such information, it cannot be used by us or disclosed to third parties in the future. You can opt-out of receiving email messages from us about products and services that may be of interest to you. If you indicated upon registration that you are interested in receiving offers or information from go2 and our partners, we may occasionally send you e-mail or postal mail about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. Only go2 (or agents working on behalf of go2 and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings and only if you indicated that you do not object to these offers. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply tell us when you give us your personal information.

Or, at any time you can easily edit your go2 registration information to no longer receive such offers and mailings. You will need your go2 username and password in order to access your go2 registration information.

On some types of go2's promotions, we will ask for your email address in order to update you on your score, entries, and status in prize drawings. When you participate in these types of promotions, you may automatically receive promotion-related email. Occasionally these promotion-related email messages may include targeted advertisements.

You also have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies you will be unable to use those go2 services that require the use of cookies in order to participate. In addition, the go2 Enabler® provides you with more choices and the ability to customize your go2 Handshake® with both go2 and and other go2 Enabled® websites.

go2 does not sell or rent Personal Information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service or not to participate in certain promotions or contests.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, you should understand that Personal Information previously disclosed by us to third parties before you delete or change such information in our database as well as Personal Information disclosed by you to selected third parties during the registration process will be used according to such third parties' privacy policies. In addition, even if you delete or change some Personal Information in our registration database, it may still be stored on other databases (including those kept for archival purposes).

Your go2 registration information is password-protected so that you and only you have access to this Personal Information. You may edit your go2 registration information by using your go2 username and password.

We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. go2 will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. We recommend that you should not ask go2 to remember your username or password on a computer that can be accessed by others. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, go2 cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

Security
We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your Personal Information , such as firewalls and secure socket layers where appropriate. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

Additional Privacy Protections for Children
Naturally, the safety of children is very important to us. Children are not eligible to use our services and we ask that minors do not submit any Personal Information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with your parents or guardians. Children should never reveal their addresses, phone numbers or other Personal Information to any strangers on the Internet.

Further information.
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example on message boards, through email, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any registration information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online.

We cannot ensure that your private communications and other Personal Information will not be disclosed to third parties. By way of example, without limiting the foregoing, we may be forced to disclose information to the government under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or we might disclose your information to other sites as part of offering additional functionality to you. Additionally, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your Personal Information to private entities, law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate. Therefore, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your Personal Information or private communications would remain private.
